CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Greater Cincinnati Area is about to get a whole lot louder and brighter as several cities along the Ohio River prepare for WEBN Fireworks and Riverfest over Labor Day Weekend.
On Sunday, Sept. 1, thousands of people will gather along the river for Riverfest and to see Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks.
Riverfest leads up to the exciting fireworks show and includes food, music and fun all day starting at noon at Sawyer Point & Yeatman’s Cove.
Cincinnati Parks says people can claim their spot on the Serpentine Wall to watch the fireworks by setting up blankets or tarps as early as noon.
But Riverfest doesn’t stop downtown.
Mt. Echo Park is hosting Riverfest West starting at 4 p.m. The park offers a higher view of the fireworks and is considered one of the “best views in the city,” according to Cincy Parks.
Like Sawyer Point & Yeatman’s Cove, there will be plenty of food and family-friendly entertainment at Riverfest West.
The annual fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m.
