Patricia was born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., on Nov. 20, 1946, to Kathleen Pickett and Walter B. Keezell, and was pre- ceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her cher- ished son, Michael Meagher, of Browns Summit, NC; her sister, Linda Clayton and husband, Tom, of Raleigh; two brothers, Howell R. Keezell of Bangkok, Thailand, and Walter B.

Keezell and wife, Laura, of San Diego; two nieces, Kristin Clayton of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and Robin Clayton Ring of Gatlinburg, TN; two nephews, Jordan and Dillon Keezell of San Diego; and, cousin Julie Richards and her children, Cody and Katrina Richards of Cary, and Tracey Richards Mc- Millon and husband, Michael, of Fayetteville, NC. She also leaves behind her dear friend Bob Richards and her beloved cat, Face Man. Friends and family knew her as Patricia, Pat, Patty, or pack Her main mission in life was to love and nurture her only child, Michael. She had a vibrant 41-year working career, and at the time of her death was the U.S. Foodservice national account executive to N.C.

State University. favorite teams were N.C. State and the Red- skins. Gourmet cooking for family and friends was another of passions, and she particularly enjoyed swapping stories and cooking with Penny Elbay and Yves Ruiz. easy smile and gregarious ways will be missed by many.

Nell Gray Emerson Humphries Morgan was born October 11, 1912 to Grey Braxton and Stella Norwood Emerson of Bear Creek, NC. She gradu- ated from Bonlee High School (class of 1931). She married Ce- cil Ray Humphries in 1935 and had a daughter, Rachel Delores Humphries Stevens.

They lived in Dublin, Virginia until the time of death in 1950, af- ter which, she and her daughter moved to Bear Creek, NC to live with her parents. In 1963 Nell married Carlos Vernon Morgan, who had two daughters, Connie Morgan Conway and the late, Frieda M. Lindley. The couple lived in Siler City and opened the Curi- osity Shop, an antique business. Mr.

Morgan died in 1976. After retirement, Nell moved to northern Chatham County just below Chapel Hill and lived with her daughter. Nell was a life-long member of Sandy Branch Baptist Church, active in establishing the train- ing union as part of the program. For more than 20 years, she served as Sandy Branch Training Union Director and Sandy Creek Association Training Union Director. She loved her family, traveling, an- tique collecting and bird watch- ing.

She is survived by Rachel H. Stevens, daughter; Connie M. Conway, stepdaughter; and her sons-in-law, Charles H. Stevens, Mark Darryle Lindley, and Nor- man Albert Michael Conway. She is survived by seven grand- children, Douglas Ray Stevens, Nelson Charles Stevens, Linda Stevens Williamson, Julius Neill Lindley, Martin Anthony Lindley, Darryle E.

H. Conway, and Craig Michael Conway. She is also survived by ten great- grandchildren, Leslie Dale Ste- vens, Noelle Delaney Stevens, Colin Henry Stevens, Samuel Gray Williamson, Julius Neill Lindley II, Morgan Blane Lind- ley, Alison Blair Lindley, Abigail Morgan Conway, Hannah Marie Conway and Tyler Michael Grif- Conway. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Thomas I. Humphries.

Harriet was born June 5, 1933, in a i NC to the late Grover and Harriet Mohorn Harris. She graduated from College of the Uni- versity of North Carolina later continuing her education at the University of Richmond. Harriet started her teaching career in 1955 in South Bos- ton, VA and the transferred to Manchester High School in VA.

Harriet completed her teach- ing career as choral director at Thomas Dale High School in Chester, VA where she will be remembered for her brilliant di- rection of many Broadway mu- sicals, classical performances and yearly direction of Messiah. She also guest con- ducted throughout the state of Virginia and traveled overseas performing with Robert Shaw. She retired in 1991 after al- most 30 years at Thomas Dale High. Harriet will be remem- bered always for her incredible musical gifts and her amazing ability to reach out to her stu- dents. Words cannot express what she has meant to her fam- ily.

She is survived by her hus- band, John Anderson Hicks of Murfreesboro, NC; daughter, Harriet Elizabeth Baldwin of Mooresville, NC; son, Graham H. Bruce, III of Rockwell, NC; stepson, Mathew A. Hicks of Corpus Christi, TX; and niece, Kimberly Cole, of Chester, VA; She also is survived by eight grandchildren and her brother, William Harris of Cedar Point. Bobby C. Best MARSHALBERG Pelham Thomas Jones, 86, of Marshalberg, NC, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Carteret Gen- eral Hospital. Pelham was born to Ad- die Moore and Thomas Chad- wick Jones on April 19, 1924. He grew up with his three older siblings, Archie, Neal and Grace in Marshallberg and graduated from Smyrna High School in 1941. He attended Wake Forest Col- lege for two years, before joining the Navy, where he served as an for three years.

After the war in 1948, he married his soul- mate, Margaret Fuller House, of Louisburg and Beaufort, NC. as Margaret called him, returned to school, graduating in 1949 with a Bachelor of Sci- ence in Mathematics from Wake Forest. He received his degree in education from UNC Chapel Hill in 1950. His entire career was spent in education, serving as principal in Dabney High School in Henderson, NC, Aulander High School in Bertie County, Northhampton High School, then coming home in 1969 to serve as prin- cipal of Smyrna School, then at the central for Carteret County Schools. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Wagner and Rev.
